Quake4 Sound Problems

I had a very stuttering sound while running Quake 4 under Linux. After searching a little, i found this Forum Post, describing the same problem with Doom3. Because Quake 4 is based on the Doom3 Engine, the options are the same. I just edited s_maxChannelsMixed and set s_driver from best to oss.

Quake4

Quake 4 is out!
I’ve just been playing about 30 minutes of Single Player. It looks quite like Doom3, but it has more action. It runs a bit faster than Doom3 in my opinion.
I’m gonna install it under Linux to see how the performance will be.
